LEGO The Lord of the Rings takes players along on the adventures of Frodo Baggins and his unlikely fellowship as they set out on a perilous journey to destroy The One Ring and save Middle-earth. Kids, tweens, teens and parents can traverse the Misty Mountains, explore the Mines of Moria, knock on the Black Gate of Mordor, and partake in epic battles with Orcs, Uruk-hai, the Balrog and other formidable foes while harnessing the humor and imagination of LEGO gameplay to solve puzzles and explore Middle-earth. Players will take on the form of their favorite members of the fellowship – Frodo the Hobbit, Aragorn the Ranger, Gandalf the Wizard, Legolas the Elf, Gimli the Dwarf, Boromir a Man of Gondor, and Frodo’s Hobbit friends Sam, Merry and Pippin – as they relive the most momentous events from the films.

The whole charm of these games was that they were able to tell the story without having to talk.

Yes and no. The spoken lines are all taken from the films, so it will be the original actors saying the lines, but they're not coming back to do it especially for the game.

I cannot WAIT for this game. I have, and have beaten, every single LEGO game so far, and this looks to be the best. I also have every single Lord of the Rings LEGO set they've released, and I'm chomping at the bit waiting for them to release the Minas Tirith set. It'll deflate my bank account considerably, but can you imagine the sheer awesomeness??!!??

I like the lego games... well, at least I used to. Haven't played them since pirates.

But for one thing I really preferred when the characters didn't talk. As @UltimateSpiderman said up there.

I liked the character line in Batman Lego 2 but the game is not about the fun of the adventures in it, but solely based on collecting the most bricks possible to get to 100% completion. It had potential but lacked in story. As soon as the Justice League formed the game was over. Take it to Metroplois...since Superman was one of the best characters to play as (and even came with his own movie theme music when you fly!)

I'll buy this one but not until it hits 19.99, just like Pirates of the Caribean

The Lord of the Rings~~~oh, yeah~~it’s a wonderful film,anyone who isn’t like it? I will say no !!
Especially The Lord of the Rings costume,very cool~~~
