Eva Mendes (Hitch) will play a love interest in Ghost Rider, the Mark Steven Johnson-directed adaptation of the Marvel comic, starring Nicolas Cage.
Wes Bentley rounds out the cast as Blackheart. Shane Salerno wrote the initial script. Edge FX, Dalchem and Halon Entertainment are doing some of the FX on the film. Shooting begins this month in Australia.
