Ghost Rider Casts Its Blackheart

American Beauty star Wes Bentley takes a role in the Marvel movie.

Wes Bentley (American Beauty) will play Blackheart in the upcoming Ghost Rider film, Variety reports.

Mark Steven Johnson is directing Nic Cage in the lead role for Columbia Pictures. In the comics, Blackheart was the son of Mephistopheles.

Colin Farrell (Bullseye from Daredevil) introduced his friend Bentley to Johnson.
The film starts shooting next month in Australia for a 2006 release.
