GOTG: Chris Pratt's "Awesome Mix" Tape Isn't Quite As Cool As Star-Lord's

We all know that in Marvel's Guardians Of The Galaxy, Star-Lord carries around a tape called "awesome mix volume 1" that is...well, pretty damn awesome. Now in an interview with IGN, the actor that plays him reveals what '80s tunes he'd put on his own tape.

Hmm. Some decent tunage, but I still think Star-Lord's got him beat! Just for fun, let us know what songs would make your own Awesome Mix. If you're not quite enough of an old git to have grown up in the '80s, just choose from whatever era you were an ankle biter in, or, whichever one you feel was most influential for you music wise. Guardians of the Galaxy is still in theatres, so if you haven't checked it out yet be sure to do so. You can read my take on it HERE.

One thing that is cool is that the 'Awesome Mix Vol 2' could include even more 80s goodies...any prior to 1988 when the opening scene of GOTG took place.

Beyond that, once Star Lord comes back to modern earth, we could get an Awesome Mix for the 90s, then the 00s.

I think each Guardians of the Galaxy film could get a new Awesome Mix volume.

I assume everyone realizes that Awesome Mix Vol 1 is all songs from the 70's, right? The closest to the 80's is the Pina Colada song, which is from 79. In fact, the original Norman Greenbaum version of Spirit In The Sky they used is from 1969.
