From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. James Gunn is the director and the story is by Nicole Perlman and James Gunn, with screenplay by James Gunn. The film releases in U.S. theaters on August 1, 2014.

@Gibman
Grif has been so negative for so long that at this point in his life him saying something positive would most likely kill him.

Grif is a constant in the universe. Expecting that to change is like expecting a Puppet Master movie that isn't awful. It will never happen, nor should it. Well the Puppet Master thing should probably change but that's a whole other kettle of corn.

@plan99fromouterspace I think it would actually cause a massive black hole.

Of course, he'd still die. But so would we. I think it's better Grif stays negative, for the good of the Universe as we know it.

Grif does say positive things from time to time. Though I'd say if there ever was a movie made based on source material he liked with Eisenberg in the lead and Abrams directing his hate would break reality.

@0megaDaGod & Pheezmatic: Yeah, I cropped the characters from the hi-res poster and put the logo on them. Also I flipped Drax and Star-Lord (they look better that way).

i love the lego stuff but i dont find this one good at all. i stopped watching as soon as i saw batman in there.

there was one recently that came out that was much better and was actually the footage redone in lego (i believe the SDCC footage)

That was poorly edited. Especially since the person used Morgan Freeman's character as Groot and then used him for a completely different character almost immediately after.
