Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 wrapped filming last month, but we're still finding out about new additions to the cast.
Following the recent news that both Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) and Maria Bakalova (Borat 2) have signed on in undisclosed roles, Deadline reports that Nico Santos has also joined the ensemble.
As per usual, no details on the Crazy Rich Asians star's character were provided, but director James Gunn did take to Twitter to confirm his role in the threequel and share a photo of the full (pending any other surprise additions) cast.
Plot details have also been kept mostly under wraps, but we do know that Gamora (Zoe Saldana) will be a big part of the movie, and a report from last year indicated that her relationship with Nebula (Karen Gillan) is going to be the main focus. Of course, this Gamora is a Variant of the original who doesn't know any of her teammates, so we can probably expect a very different dynamic between the "sisters" this time.
Saldana and Gillan will be joined by the returning Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Dave Bautista (Drax), Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Sean Gunn (Rocket/Kraglin), Vin Diesel (Groot), and Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord/Starhawk, with Will Poulter on board as Adam Warlock.
Peacemaker actor Chukwudi Iwuji is rumored to be playing the villainous High Evolutionary.
