Cleveland is an important city in the world. The city has given us many great icons. Drew Carey, Halle Berry, Brian Azzarello, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Kid Cudi, and Freddy Krueger's creator Wes Craven. Cleveland was also the city where superheroes were born. Joe Shuster & Jerry Siegel lived in Cleveland and created Superman in the city. In addition, hit comic book movies like The Avengers, Spider-Man 3, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier were filmed in Cleveland. With all this greatness, Chris Pratt doesn't seem to keen on saving Cleveland in Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

When talking with IGN, Pratt was asked about rumors if we will see the Guardians teaming up with other Avengers or Earth based heroes. Pratt replied with, “That’s speculation. I haven’t heard that. No, no one’s ever discussed it with me. I think like the universe itself it’s best to expand outward. I don’t personally – and it’s not up to me, I’ll do whatever they want me to do – I don’t want to see the Guardians defend Cleveland, Ohio. We’re cosmic man. I want to be in space.”

This is sad news indeed. The positive news is Cleveland will be saved within the upcoming weeks when the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the Golden State Warriors in 6 games. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be filmed in Atlanta starting February, 2016. It's also been stated that James Gunn has finished the first draft of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which you can read here. What are your thoughts? Would you have preferred a film where the Guardians save Cleveland or do you prefer seeing another space movie? Comment below, let me know. Peace and remember...

Considering the Infinity Gauntlet is a universe-wide threat, I don't see how the Guardians can't appear in at least one of the two films.

I think one of the two films will take place largely in and around Earth, but the other (at least I hope) will be fully cosmic Marvel weirdness.

Infinity War will probably take place in both Earth and space. I wonder if the Inhumans are going to be in IW; I really want to see a fight between Thanos and Black Bolt like in the Infinity comic series.
