GOTG Vol. 2 Director James Gunn Reveals That He Pitched An Idea For A MOON KNIGHT Movie To Marvel Studios

Although Marvel has begun to turn to some of their more obscure properties for both their big screen and TV projects, one second tier character that's yet to make the cut is Moon Knight. Though we do continue to hear rumors of something brewing for Netflix, nothing official has come from the studio, so we have to assume that there are no current plans in the works.

Still, many fans continue to hold out hope that something will materialize, and as it turns out, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn counts himself among them.

Though it's highly unlikely we'll ever see Marc Spector join Gunn's team of intergalactic A-holes, perhaps the fact that he's brought his idea to Marvel means they'll finally think about giving the lunar-powered hero some attention.

What are your thoughts on this? Is Moon Knight better suited to film of TV? Sound off below.
