Here's a fun a couple of fun Lincoln facts. He didn't actually have a a deep booming voice, it was more high pitch and shrill. It actually worked to his advantage because in debates his voice carried farther than his opponents. Also, Lincoln was credited with "freeing the slaves" but when in reality he was on record saying he foresaw slavery lasting all the way into the 20th century. It was never on his agenda to "free the slaves." Why am I posting this? Because in college I had to sit through three classes that had to do with government and have yet to use any of the information that I learned in any social setting.
