One of the big Syfy surprises last season was the success of Being Human, the US version of the British series that quickly established its own path. The show returns for year two on January 16th and Syfy has issued a couple of preview clips.

I LOVE THE UK VERSION, AND THIS ONE I LOVE TOO. I LIKE HOW THEYRE JUST GETTING TO THE COOL STUFF AND NOT STARTING FROM THE VERY BEGINNING AND NOT HOLDING OFF ON THE COOL STUFF THATS CURRENTLY HAPPENING IN THE UK SHOW. THE ONE THING I WISH IN THIS AMERICANIZED SHOW IS I WISH THEY WENT WITH PRACTICAL WEREWOLF EFFECTS..THERES SOMETHING ABOUT PRACTICAL THAT MAKES IT MORE VISCERAL.

Uk version has the worse FX on the planet like all UK scifi shows, i'll stick with the remake.

Can't wait. I was surprised at how much the show didn't suck. Also glad they changed it up a bit and didn't just copy+paste the whole thing. One gripe I had with it: Did Starkiller get botox injections in his lips?

When does the next season start for the UK version though? It's by far superior.

How does this compare to the UK version?

And isn't it supposed to be set in Boston? When it is clearly, clearly not Boston at all...

This show was surprisingly good imo, maybe not better than the UK version, but still really good. But I can't wait for this season to start.

It's not bad, Uk version though is so much better

The U.S version is rubbish compared to the fantastic writing and quirky nature of the U.K original. I've been watching this since the U.K pilot with the different cast and Being Human is great, I can't wait for it to come back to BBC THREE for a new season.
