CHILD'S PLAY: Chucky Gets An Upgrade In This First Teaser Trailer For The Horror Reboot
"Hi I'm Chucky, wanna play?" As promised, the first trailer for the Child's Play reboot starring Legion actress Aubrey Plaza has been released online, and it serves as a creepy tease of what's to come...
The first trailer for director Lars Klevberg’s Child's Play reboot is now online.
This new take on the '80s horror classic looks like it'll follow most of the same beats as the original, but killer doll Chucky has been given a hi-tech upgrade, which should come in handy when he goes on his inevitable murder spree.
The teaser actually avoids giving us a proper look at the evil little shit (which is a bit odd considering an official image has already been released), but we do get to see the terrified reactions of his potential victims, which include Legion star Aubrey Plaza and Atlanta's Brian Tyree Henry.
Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think. Child's Play slashes its way into theaters on June 21.
A contemporary re-imagining of the 1988 horror classic, director Lars Klevberg’s new film follows Karen (Aubrey Plaza), a single mother who gifts her son Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a Buddi doll, unaware of its more sinister nature.
