The horror and crime thriller genres collide in this new original series from Robert Rodriguez, based on his cult grindhouse classic about bank-robbing brothers on the run, a lawman bent on bringing them to justice, the devout family caught in the cross-fire, and an ancient evil eager to feast on them all.




Starring: D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Robert Patrick, Wilmer Valderrama, Eiza Gonzalez and Jake Busey.

LEEE777 - "The Take" the final episode of season 1, airs tomorrow night at 9pm ET/PT on EL REY NETWORK (USA). The series has been renewed for a 13-episode second season.

This show was bloated with so much crap characters and crap story they didn't need to add. There's more tits and action in the 90 min film than this long-winded show.

I kind of gave up on this show around ep 7 or 8. And I actually always wanted to see the Titty Twister pyramid explored better. Just didn't hold my interest in the end. But when there are only 10 eps I might as well finish it sometime soon.

Yes. It's fantastic. It feels exactly like the original, except they've extended the best parts. You see more of Richie Gecko's visions. More of the fugitive preacher's story. And Sex Machine is played by Jake Busey. Turns out Sex Machine is an archaeologist undercover as a biker, and he fills the audience in on all the great ancient history behind the Culebras.
Also Fez from That 70s Show plays a bloodthirsty a_hole, and does it well.

It's a pretty decent show - Good enough for me to want to keep watching and to want to see the next season - Wilmer Valderrama, D.J. Cotrona, Zane Holtz, Robert Patrick, and Eiza Gonzalez do real kick-ass jobs playing their parts for sure - I ESPECIALLY love Eiza as Santanico, no question, and Wilmer's really cool as Carlos too, not to mention Cotrona as Seth Gecko - Looking forward to season: 2 already... *cool*/P :)
