The Walking Dead spin-off's male lead Cliff Curtis has revealed the secretive new pilot will bring more humanity to the characters and the relationships than the original franchise.

However on the press tour for indie film The Dark Horse, Flicks And The City got to speak to lead actor Cliff Curtis who revealed that the pilot wants to "raise the bar [...] in terms of the relationships stakes and the humanity". Cliff couldn't reveal a lot more as the TV network have him "on lock down" but watch what he had to say when asked about a potential crossover with the main show in the interview below (The Walking Dead content starts around 4:30).
