Awesome.
They've really gone all out on the blood and gore! it's so refreshing that they haven't gone down the cookie-cutter route just so it makes more money.

I hope they don't use the original movie's ending, I always thought it sucked. Why would Carrie kill herself, her Psycho-trash mother is dead all the assholes who tormented her are dead. All her problems are gone in one eventful night a new start. So what does she do, bring the [frick]in house down on herself and bury it! Seriously you retard you have telekinetic superpowers, rob [frick]in banks fly away and live the good life somewhere become a [frick]in superhero or supervillian just [frick]in do something! But no she [frick]in brings the [frick]in house down and kills herself! [frick]in dumbass ahhhhhhhhhhhhh.............................................

Really keeps the subtlety of the original.
But not really.

@thebeard I couldn't decide if it was that or the 2000 pg13 remake ending that was worse there. Her mom tried to drown her in the tub, and then she ran away with some other chick who was just gonna drop her off somewhere.

Either way I'm still lookin forward to this movie.

I'm with xcan28, I like horror movies with blood and gore, but how many times are they going to make this movie? Give me something fresh. Everything these days are reboots, remakes, redo's and sequels/prequels. Show me some originality.

It's so stupid using the blood scene as promotion.
They should do the opposite..have a very sterile looking image, perhaps Carrie in her prom dress with it all clean & prestine with one drop of blood falling towards her.

The trailer & imagery used to promote the film absolutely ruins the climatic scene,it's THE WORST display of showing everything to the audience before they see the movie.
Awful..maybe the movie is good but the promo dept. should be fired.
