RESIDENT EVIL: THE FINAL CHAPTER Gets A First Official Poster And New Image Of Milla Jovocich As Alice

Following last week's trailer tease, we have a brand new one-sheet for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, which is obviously setting itself up as the last instalment in the franchise.

The poster features Milla Jovovich as Alice, all guns blazing. We also have a new image via EW, featuring the heroine looking somewhat less confident.

Picking up immediately after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, humanity is on its last legs after Alice is betrayed by Wesker in Washington D.C. As the only survivor of what was meant to be humanity’s final stand against the undead hordes, Alice must return to where the nightmare began – Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces for a final strike against the only remaining survivors of the apocalypse. In a race against time Alice will join forces with old friends, and an unlikely ally, in an action packed battle with undead hordes and new mutant monsters. Between losing her superhuman abilities and Umbrella’s impending attack, this will be Alice’s most difficult adventure as she fights to save humanity, which is on the brink of oblivion.

Starring Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, Eoin Macken, William Levy, Fraser James, and Rola, Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is set to be released on January 27th, 2017.

I have to say most of these movies......well just about all of them are pretty bad......but they are somewhat entertaining.

@JoeMomma29 - They're one of those "guilty pleasure" moments when watching. At least they are for me. Not the best films, but for some reason they are still fun to watch in a weird kind of way. Perhaps it is just watching Milla that does it for me.

@JoeMomma29 - Not sure what I hate more, Transformers franchise or Resident Evil...

And to me it is strange they have gone the same, loved the first one of both franchises and then each new delivery is more crappy than the last one... lol!

She has aged beautifully.

Loved her since Fifth Element, but have only seen the first Resident Evil.

I mean, how many of these mediocre sequels can they make in this franchise. I feel like this should have been more of a netflix series than a movie franchise.
