"I'm something... different."

Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group have debuted a new trailer for Scream VI, and this latest teaser gives us a much better idea of what to expect from this sixth instalment in the long-running horror franchise.

The trailer begins with a tense scene, as Ghostface follows sisters Sam and Tara into a store and proceeds to dispatch anyone standing in his way after getting hold of a shotgun.

From there, the returning Gale Weathers and Scream 4's Kirby Reed join the party, and we find out that this new incarnation of the masked killer has built himself a little shrine to the past.

Ghostface makes it very clear that he's "something different" during a potentially spoiler-y face-off with Gale, but what does that mean, exactly? There's speculation that this movie may introduce some sort of supernatural twist, but as far-fetched as the previous films can get, that might be a step too far for the fanbase!

Have a look at the trailer and poster for yourselves, and let us know what you think.

Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera ("Sam Carpenter"), Jasmin Savoy Brown ("Mindy Meeks-Martin"), Mason Gooding ("Chad Meeks-Martin"), Jenna Ortega ("Tara Carpenter"), Hayden Panettiere ("Kirby Reed"), and Courtney Cox ("Gale Weathers") return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra and Samara Weaving.

Scream VI is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin & Tyler Gillett, and is set to slice its way into theaters on March 10.

It has Wednesday girl in it and she's the current IT person so I'm sure this will do well regardless.

I'm suprised that this series has managed to remain fresh every entry. while 3 does get alot of flack it isn't terrible. I think 2 will always be the best though. Nothing beats that Stab opening.
