I don't understand why tessa is suddenly an angel. Angels and reapers are not the same thing.

Supernatural is an awesome show (even though season 6-7 were the weakest) and I can't wait to seee the seaon finale and see what season 10 as in store. But Season 5 will always be the best.

I get really annoyed when current writers on a show make a character a bold faced hypocrite with dialogue that contradicts their actions in pretty much every season, or they seem to skip over continuity and the mythology they set up on the show. And why is Tessa a) and angel, reapers are separate beings and b) why does she have the same appearance she had as a Reaper, and not another face because of a human host?

@ManCalledSting Exactly (Swan Song is also my favorite with Hammer of the Gods)the emotion in that episode and everything that hang in the balance made it epic. But like you say, they could have ended the series with that ending (minus Sam's return)and I would have been satisfied even though season 6 and 7 made me question how much do I love this show (bad seasons so bad) and I hope that we get Lucifer as the villain in Season 10.
