Following rave reviews from the Sundance Film Festival, the first trailer for A24's Talk To Me is now online, and this really does look just as terrifying as those early reactions promised.

The story focuses on a group of friends who discover how to conjure spirits using an embalmed hand. They become hooked on the new thrill, until one of them goes too far and unleashes terrifying supernatural forces.

The group is then forced to contend with apparitions, demonic voices, creepy kangaroos, and, no doubt, plenty of gruesome slayings.

The movie currently boasts an impressive 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, with a critics consensus that reads:  "With a gripping story and impressive practical effects, Talk to Me spins a terrifically creepy 21st-century horror yarn built on classic foundations."

Directed by YouTube creators Danny and Michael Philippou, collectively known as RackaRacka, the Aussie supernatural chiller is set for release on July 28, and stars Sophie Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Dhanji, Zoe Terakes, and Chris Alosio.

This has potential, I wish other genres could be as creative and original as Horror is. Aside from the franchises lol

This looks kind of ridiculous. A bunch of teenagers find a magic ghost hand and just know how to do all this stuff with it and video recorded? Just dumb.
