We're sure many of you will know Craig Robinson best for his comedic roles, whether it be The Office, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, or movies like The Bad Guys and This Is The End. Most recently, he's starred in Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, and we got to speak with him about that project during a recent interview you can watch in full below.

Of course, given how popular Robinson is, it's no great surprise that his name frequently comes up when comic book fans are putting forward their suggestions for various superhero movie roles.

The Thing in Marvel Studios' Fantastic Four reboot is one recent example, and we asked the actor whether the genre is one that interests him. It was then that he confirmed reports he's lent his voice to Disney Channel's upcoming Marvel Animation series, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur.

"I’m not one of the superheroes, but I play…I don’t know if I can talk about this. Did I sign a thing? Moon Girl is coming out, so I play a role in that. So, there’s that!" he reveals. "I play a role in that world, so we’ll see. I’ve gotta get in shape and then we’ll see if they come calling [Laughs]."

When we pushed Robinson on whether a live-action project might be of interest, he added: "Of course, I’d do it. Why not? It would be fun!"

So, he's open to making this a reality and we'd definitely like to see it happen. Robinson is a real talent both in dramatic performances and comedic ones, and we can't help but think he would bring an awful lot to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for example (Randall Park is a great comparison for a comedy actor who has made a huge impact in that franchise).

That Moon Girl TV series is a good start, though, and we're intrigued to see who he plays in that one. Oh, and for those of you who are fans of The Office, you may want to click here to see what Robinson had to say about a potential revival!

Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon is now in theaters, on Digital and on Demand. Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, meanwhile, is currently set to premiere on February 10, 2023.
