While Reddit is rarely a reliable source of information, the r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit tends to be a great place to find leaks and rumours that, more often than not, prove to be correct. The page's moderators often share intel from sources who have contacted them, and that means we have lots of big rumours to share with you today.
How reliable these claims are remains to be seen, and we'd advise taking everything you read here with a pinch of salt. There's a lot that makes sense, though we do have to start off with a rather disappointing update.
Apparently, Echo is now set to be released in early 2024 rather than this summer as originally planned, while Agatha: Coven of Chaos has slipped surprisingly far down the release calendar. Originally expected either late 2023 or early 2024, the rumoured plan now is for it to follow Daredevil: Born Again, likely in 2025.
This lends some weight to those recent rumours about Marvel Studios returning to a quality-over-quantity approach to storytelling, but it's a little surprising to hear What If...? season 2 is also going to premiere in 2024. We'll see.
Other tidbits include supposed plans for Vision Quest to introduce Viv, The Vision's daughter, in order to further set the stage for a future Young Avengers project. Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight's respective second seasons are both said to be coming before Avengers: Secret Wars is released.
Wong, meanwhile, may be getting his own Strange Academy-inspired TV series co-starring Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez.
Nova is still set to be a movie rather than a TV series of Special Presentation, with the story acting as a "passing of the torch" (we're guessing rumours Richard Rider will be shown training Sam Alexander are correct). Midnight Sons is similarly expected to be a big screen venture, though no additional details have been revealed beyond that.
Finally, Captain America: New World Order will reportedly see the return of the Department of Damage Control, while The Serpent Society is also being lined up for a future project.
We'll see what happens, but there's plenty here to get excited about if accurate.
