The website Rotten Tomatoes gathers the online reviews for movies and rates them into four different categories which in turn create four completely different lists for the top 17 MCU movies so far. Well I was bored the other day so I compiled all of them in order from best to worst, and thought I’d share them with you allowing you possibly to compare these “official” lists to your own.

These lists are based on their RT scores, and are in no way my personal opinion. All tying scores will be placed based on how well the movies have done on the other 3 lists.

First up is the Critics %, or “The Fresh Maker”. This is the percentage of reviews from professional critics that were more positive that negative.

1.  94% - Iron Man
2.  93% - Thor Ragnarok
3.  92% - The Avengers
4.  92% - Spider-Man: Homecoming
5.  91% - Guardians Of The Galaxy
6.  90% - Captain America: Civil War
7.  89% - Captain America: The Winter Solider
8.  89% - Doctor Strange
9.  82% - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
10. 82% - Ant-Man
11. 80% - Captain America: The First Avenger
12. 77% - Iron Man 3
13. 77% - Thor
14. 75% - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
15. 73% - Iron Man 2
16. 67% - The Incredible Hulk
17. 66% - Thor: The Dark World

Next is the “Audience %”. This is the percentage of online reviews from non-professional critics that were more positive than negative.

1.   92% - Guardians Of The Galaxy
2.   92% - Captain America: The Winter Solider
3.   91% - The Avengers
4.   91% - Iron Man
5.   90% - Thor Ragnarok
6.   89% - Captain America: Civil War
7.   89% - Spider-Man: Homecoming
8.   88% - Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
9.   86% - Doctor Strange
10. 86% - Ant-Man
11. 83% - Avengers: Age Of Ultron
12. 78% - Iron Man 3
13. 77% - Thor: The Dark World
14. 76% - Thor
15. 74% - Captain America: The First Avenger
16. 72% - Iron Man 2
17. 71% - The Incredible Hulk

Now, the “Audience Average Score” out of 5. On a scale from 1 to 5, these are the average scores for each movie given by non-professional critics.

1.   4.4 – The Avengers
2.   4.4 – Guardians Of The Galaxy
3.   4.3 – Captain America: The Winter Solider
4.   4.3 – Captain America: Civil War
5.   4.3 – Thor Ragnarok
6.   4.2 – Iron Man
7.   4.2 – Spider-Man: Homecoming
8.   4.2 – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
9.   4.1 – Doctor Strange
10. 4.1 – Avengers: Age Of Ultron
11.    4 – Iron Man 3
12.    4 – Ant-Man
13. 3.9 – Thor: The Dark World
14. 3.8 – Thor
15. 3.7 – Captain America: The First Avenger
16. 3.7 – Iron Man 2
17. 3.6 – The Incredible Hulk

And finally, the “Critics Average Score” out of 10. (Again, all ties in each list are decided and placed according to how much better the tying movies performed on the other 3 lists, not by my own opinion.)

1.      8 – The Avengers
2.   7.7 – Guardians Of The Galaxy
3.   7.7 – Iron Man
4.   7.6 – Captain America: The Winter Solider
5.   7.6 – Captain America: Civil War
6.   7.6 – Spider-Man: Homecoming
7.   7.5 – Thor Ragnarok
8.   7.3 – Doctor Strange
9.   7.2 – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
10.    7 – Iron Man 3
11.    7 – Captain America: The First Avenger
12. 6.8 – Ant-Man
13. 6.7 – Avengers: Age Of Ultron
13. 6.7 – Thor
15. 6.5 – Iron Man 2
16. 6.2 – Thor: The Dark World
17. 6.2 – The Incredible Hulk

Had enough? Too bad! Just for fun I also found the average RT list placement for each MCU movie as well. The Avengers for example comes in 1st place on two lists and 3rd place on the other two, making it top this list with the lowest average list placement of 2 [(1+1+3+3)/4=2], while The Incredible Hulk sits at the bottom of the list with the highest average list Placement of 16.75[16+17+17+17)/4=16.75]. Why…? Why not?!

1.          2 – The Avengers
2.       2.5 – Guardians Of The Galaxy
3.       3.5 – Iron Man
4.          4 – Captain America: The Winter Solider
5.     4.75 – Thor Ragnarok
6.     5.25 – Captain America: Civil War
7.          6 – Spider-Man: Homecoming
8.       8.5 – Doctor Strange
9.       8.5 – Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
10.      11 – Ant-Man
11. 11.25 – Iron Man 3
12.      12 – Avengers: Age Of Ultron
13.      13 – Captain America: The First Avenger
14. 13.75 – Thor
15. 14.75 – Thor: The Dark World
16.   15.5 – Iron Man 2
17. 16.75 – The Incredible Hulk

So how close are your personal top 17 lists compared to these? I’ve never made one myself because my opinion changes too often, which was why I wanted to research these in the first place. Just thought I’d share my finding with the community. Hope you found them educational.

SMASH YOU!!!
