The footage from The Mandalorian that was screened for fans at Star Wars Celebration Chicago today was not released online, but a couple of video clips from the panel have now been leaked.

Some of the quality is pretty lousy, but we do get a decent look at Pedro Pascal's titular bounty hunter making his way along a frozen walkway before entering a bar similar to the now iconic Mos Eisely cantina from the first Star Wars movie. What follows is a mixture of BTS and B-roll footage, along with interviews with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and some of the cast and directors.

Then, we get to the really good stuff. Once the live stream ended, a proper teaser for the show was screened and it featured an extended clip of Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) sharing details of a job with our helmeted antihero, before the mysterious character played by German filmmaker Werner Herzog elaborates. That's followed by glimpses of a fight scene between The Mandalorian and Cara Dune (Gina Carano), Giancarlo Esposito's villainous Imperial Officer and his Flame-Troopers, and Supernatural actress Emily Swallow as a Twi-Lek (no, it's not Hera).

We also see the droid previously believed to be IG-88 taking out some foes. Turns out, this is actually a different assassin droid known as IG-11, which is bound to disappoint some fans.

You can check out the footage for yourselves HERE and HERE, and take a look at some of the concept art that was shown at the event down below. The first episode of The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ on November 12.

For those wondering, it sounds like only the first episode or two will be released on November 12.

Yes, I just checked with two other sources. Only the first episode of The Mandalorian will be released on Disney+ on Nov. 12.

Maaaaaybe they’ll decide to add a second, but it won’t be the full binge.

Guys, please don't embed the vids in the comments. Disney has been coming down on sites hoisting leaked content which is why we're only linking to the video in articles now. They may not notice them in the comments, but no point in taking any chances.

Man I was really hoping we would get more Jedi disciples and siths for the sequels. Also want Rey to rock a purple saber for Episode IX but I’ll take the movie if it’s good,

I have a feeling this is gonna be like Judge Dredd where he never removes the helmet. Don't know whether that's a good or bad thing.

This looks pretty good, in a 'sophisticated nostalgia' kind of way. A bit like if they'd taken the interesting aspects from the Solo movie (and probably the scrapped Boba Fett one) and allowed them to just be their own thing. Like, you can't well reboot [frick]ing Han Solo, but you can very well bring the galaxy's underbelly to life. Based on how it looks and the people involved it's easily the most promising Star Wars project atm, as far as I'm concerned.

Still no actual excitement or anticipation for even this...
