The footage from
The Mandalorian that was screened for fans at Star Wars Celebration Chicago today was not released online, but a couple of video clips from the panel have now been leaked.
Some of the quality is pretty lousy, but we do get a decent look at Pedro Pascal's titular bounty hunter making his way along a frozen walkway before entering a bar similar to the now iconic Mos Eisely cantina from the first
Star Wars movie. What follows is a mixture of BTS and B-roll footage, along with interviews with Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni and some of the cast and directors.
Then, we get to the really good stuff. Once the live stream ended, a proper teaser for the show was screened and it featured an extended clip of Greef Carga (Carl Weathers) sharing details of a job with our helmeted antihero, before the mysterious character played by German filmmaker Werner Herzog elaborates. That's followed by glimpses of a fight scene between The Mandalorian and Cara Dune (Gina Carano), Giancarlo Esposito's villainous Imperial Officer and his Flame-Troopers, and
Supernatural actress Emily Swallow as a Twi-Lek (no, it's not Hera).
We also see the droid previously believed to be IG-88 taking out some foes. Turns out, this is actually a different assassin droid known as IG-11, which is bound to disappoint some fans.

The Mandalorian will premiere on Disney+ on November 12.
