Aaron Sims should be familiar to a lot of us here. Maybe the name isn't but his character designs for films like The Incredible Hulk and Green Lantern have been posted on the site several times.

From these brief snippets, feels like it will wrestle with issues familiar with Robocop. The internal battle of when you cease being human and start being a robot. While the impressive visuals remind me of something from District 9, or Chronicle.

Directed by Aaron Sims, starring Robert Joy (Land of the Dead, CSI: NY) and David Anders (Heroes, 24).

Aaron Sims is a prominent creature/conceptual designer who has helped bring filmmakers’ visions to life for the past 25 years.  During his illustrious career, Aaron has worked with visionary directors such as Steven Spielberg, Zack Snyder & Martin Campbell on such projects as WAR OF THE WORLDS, SUCKER PUNCH, GREEN LANTERN and many more.

With the help The Aaron Sims Company, and his visual effects outfit, Archetype VFX, Aaron is poised to launch his own directing career.

This was pretty cool, I wouldn't mind seeing this as a full length film. It also reminded me of the short film Alive in Joburg, that launched District 9.

Looks interesting. Some studio will pick it up, completely recast it, hire two screenwriters to "tweak" the script and you'll have I-Robot part two.

And FYI, look at the Transformers franchise total domestic gross vs Steven Spielbergs in the last decade.

Oh, and that fat f*ck George Lucas. If it doesn't have star wars attached to it....
