Sony Pictures has released a new 30-second TV spot for Passenegers, which stars Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt as 2 members of a crew bound for a colony on the other side of the galaxy who wake from hypersleep 90 years early.

Check out some snippets of new footage, as well as a new Thai poster for the movie below.

Passengers Thai Poster

On a routine journey through space to a new home, two passengers, sleeping in suspended animation, are awakened 90 years too early when their ship malfunctions. As Jim (Chris Pratt) and Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) face living the rest of their lives on board, with every luxury they could ever ask for, they begin to fall for each other, unable to deny their intense attraction… until they discover the ship is in grave danger. With the lives of 5000 sleeping passengers at stake, only Jim and Aurora can save them all.

Passengers hits theaters on December 21.

I love a good sci-fi. I'm a fan of both J-Law and Pratt. But these trailers really aren't doing too much for me. I've heard some good things about the script on Reddit and The Imitation Game was a good movie so I'm a bit conflicted on this one.

@regularmovieguy - I totally understand. I've started to avoid trailers lately. They either give away the whole movie or misrepresent the movie. The only ones I can't get myself to avoid are CBM trailers. Even with those I try to only watch the first one.

My rule is to only try and watch the first trailer or two but never the third and avoid TV spots.

Oh yeah. I totally know how the trailers work. Theoretically, you should only watch the first trailer if it sells you. I just don't have the restraint.

Also...I never watch clips.

@SimplyAz @regularmovieguy Sounds like we all try to follow the same rules. Self control is the hard part haha! And yeah I never do clips or tv spots.

The key word from me is try, I have sometimes watched every trailer and TV spot namely Terminator Genisys as I was hoping that I could convince myself that I would like it.

@SimplyAz @regularmovieguy Yeah that makes sense. I've been trying to avoid as much Dr. Strange stuff as possible. I'm so psyched!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, how lucky must both of these characters feel that they didn't wake up 90 years too early and were forced to live the rest of their lives with a complete minger for company?

I'll give it a chance.

It looks like good visuals, interesting concept, and possibly Jennifer Lawrence sexy time. I probably watch it.

Jennifer Lawrence looks more invested in that sleeping picture than she has in any other performance.
