In Star Wars: Shattered Empire by Greg Rucka and Marco Checchetto, The First Order is still decades away, but Luke, Han, and Leia have a lot on their plate after overthrowing the governing force that controlled the galaxy. StarWars.com asks, "Who is that standing beside the starship that resembles an A-Wing? Is she a Jedi? A friend to the Rebels? It’s a safe bet bounty hunters continued offering their services after the collapse of the Empire." Could this be a character who will somehow be linked to Star Wars: The Force Awakens? There's a good chance that will be the case, but we'll just have to wait and see for time being. Has #1 even hit shelves? Wish Josh would put release dates in his comic articles. Lando, Star Wars, Princess Leia (Despite being so short) and Darth Vader have all been fantastic. I have yet to pick up the Padawan book. It just seems too "Phantom Menace" from the covers I've seen. I might snag it next week. But this is a prequel to TFA and it's written by Rucka? His Punisher was amazing. I'm in.

P.S. I said "humans" specifically because I know stars wars is extremely diverse in species.

Lando really felt like a character that was forced onto the Star wars universe due to racial sensitivity. Then you had the addition of many races used as fodder during the attack of the 2nd Death Star. No where to be found during first Death Star...sigh.
