Mads Mikkelsen's exact role in Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was shrouded in mystery for quite a while, until it was revealed that he'd actually be playing the father of Felicity Jones' Jyn Erso, and would be instrumental in the construction of the dreaded Death Star.
Because details on his character were kept under wraps for so long, Galen Erso was absent from the film's early promotion, but now he's finally been given his own poster courtesy of Star Wars Italia.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
The movie opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
