STAR WARS EPISODE VII To BREAK BAD? Production Reportedly Heading To New Mexico

Considering the fact that the likes of The Avengers, Thor and The Lone Ranger were all at least partially shot in New Mexico (the home of AMC's Breaking Bad in case you didn't get that reference), Star Wars Episode VII is also said to be heading there. Read on for details!

One Headlight Ink claims to have confirmed - via Disney - that the J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars Episode VII will share production duties with London and Los Angeles, by filming at least some of the highly anticipated release in New Mexico. The majority of the film will be shot at Pinewood Studios, while it was recently revealed that the director had converted part of his Bad Robot offices in order to do post production there. While the desert there may seem like the ideal choice to portray an alien landscape, Disney will apparently once again take advantage of the A-1 studio facilities and crew; this is where the massive Helicarrier set was built for The Avengers. Crossover time? Hardly, but stay tuned to CBM for further details as production is set to begin early 2014.
