I heard the original rope they were going to swing on snapped, so they had to use Gusto to swing on in that scene. :P

Are there any never before seen shots of how Luke actually beats Vader? In the movie he gets angry and hits Vader real hard.. on his lightsaber before cutting of his robotic hand.. And this brings Vader down? Did he run out of batteries?

It sucks that there isn't a Star Wars marathon on any channel this Saturday.

I thank George Lucas and geeks who dress up as Storm Troopers for killing my love of Star Wars.

For any pioneering Star Wars fans who want Star Wars without the digital crap, have a look for Harmy's Despecialized versions. They're restored as close to the original theatrical releases as possible in high def using components of the Laserdiscs, Blu Ray and original film cells.

But for the ultimate experience, check out Adywan's Star Wars Revisited, it's the best version of the original movie to watch re-editing scenes back into their original order and a lot of digital colour corrections and added special effects including an awesome Battle of Yavin final scene. What Lucas couldn't get right with the special editions, this guy gets right in one attempt.

But if you want to see how it compares to the original check it out here..

I think I prefer the old movies. Thanks for sharing, man!

LOve Carrie Fisher! She's hilarious too. I especially loved her George Lucas roast. The end is a gem!
