According to a report by the Hollywood Reporter, Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to appear on every IMAX screening in the United States for four straight weeks! That's a full month! Even though it might seem weird for IMAX to do this for just one film, they're clearly greatly confident that this film will exceed expectations! But hey, aren't we all?

With Star War: The Force Awakens set to open up on 375 to 400 IMAX screens, Jurassic World's IMAX box office record will most likely be dethroned. As for In the Heart of the Sea and The Revenant - which also open up in December- you'll have to catch it quick, for it'll only be in IMAX for a week! As for the latter, you might no see that in IMAX for a pretty long time. Greg Foste, IMAX Entertainment CEO revealed his thoughts on the newest Star Wars film. "Star Wars: Episode VII is the ultimate crossover movie — it crosses over to everyone."

With this news reported, this leads us to believe even more that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will possibly beat Avatar's all-time box office record! Will you lay eyes on this film in IMAX when it hit theaters December 18th? Well, you'll have a whole month to run to theaters, so I'm pretty sure you won't miss out on all the fun! Sound off below with your thoughts!

Starring original cast members Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and franchise newcomers, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Gwendoline Christie, Lupita Nyong’o and Max von Sydow, Star Wars Episode VII is set to be released on December 18th, 2015.

This is a win-win. If the movie's great, it deserves every penny from from four weeks of $25 ticket sales. If it's not great, at least it'll be a Star Wars movie dethroning Avatar. And if it completely sucks, maybe this goddamn 3D fad will finally die.

Expect this to give it a healthy boost at the box office. Will that be enough to beat Avatar?

Remember that Avatar made $2.7 billion. There was an outside chance it could've reached $3 billion. And it was a complete fluke. The Force Awakens will easily cross $1 billion, and if the reviews are glowing it could even reach $2 billion. But I'm pretty sure Avatar will remain the top grossing movie ever.
