STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Covers Vanity Fair With Amazing New Looks At Rey And Kylo Ren

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker probably won't reach the same box office heights as Avengers: Endgame, but you'd best believe that it's still going to be one of the biggest movies of 2019!

Directed by J.J. Abrams, it will bring the Skywalker Saga to a close and that no doubt means we can expect some major twists and turns as the filmmaker returns to the franchise in order to find a satisfying (and suitably epic) way to wrap this story up. After Rian Johnson's divisive work on The Last Jedi, the pressure is certainly on him to deliver.

Vanity Fair has now unveiled two amazing magazine covers, which put the spotlight on Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

As you can see, they're both in the same location and it looks a lot like the planet we saw in the trailer as Rey made an impressive looking leap to avoid Ren's TIE Fighter. We'll have more Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker images and details for you later today, but for now, check out these covers below.

Roll on December 20th, eh?

@Antoin - My thoughts exactly. Maybe since it's Vanity Fair - people will be more attentive to the makeup of the costume - fabrics, etc. or something...

Not amazing by any means, but they are good covers. I like the Kylo one a bit more than Rey.

What made Vader such a great villain was the mystery behind him. We never saw his face till the very end. Kylo would have been so much better if they just would have left his helmet on. As soon as he took it off the evil went away for me. Just my opinion.
