With all eyes currently on The Mandalorian, it's easy to forget that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is also on the horizon. Now, though, Entertainment Weekly has released a gallery of images from the movie which put the spotlight on moments and characters who haven't necessarily been featured in the trailers and TV spots we've seen thus far.

For example, we get to see Richard E. Grant's villainous First Order Allegiant General Pryde.

The website has also released some very cool covers highlighting characters from each of the respective trilogies to mark the fact that the "Skywalker Saga" is finally set to reach its end.

The highlight in this gallery of images might just be a new look at some of the First Order Stormtroopers who will be reporting to Supreme Leader Kylo Ren in The Rise of Skywalker. So, to check out the new images and those covers, all you guys have to do is click on the "View List" button!

Yes, yes it is. Which is a damn shame.

Slightly OT but weird question: Where the Jedi (or just Obi-Wan) meant to be dicks in Episode II (AOTC)? I watched it the other day and when the Jedi were chasing Count Dooku and Leia fell of one of the ships, Obi-Wan tells Anakin to leave her alone...but he was primarily tasked to protect her. She fell off an entire ship. She could have broken her neck or could have been captured. Plus she's a senator. And Obi-Wan says something like "stop thinking with your feelings" and I'm just wondering if the Jedi Order is meant to be this abusive doctrine that forces people to deny that they even have emotions.

The hour or so that we have had from The Mandolorian has been the best piece of Star Wars for me since Return of the Jedi. After watching it and remembering Finn and Rose on the horse things from Last Jedi I just can not understand how it went so so wrong, then I start to remember that we will never, ever, get Luke, Han and Leia together on screen and yet they were ALL in the frikkin movie. Absolute travesty.

I watched the first two episodes of The Mandalorian now. So far it somehow managed to be both my favourite modern Star Wars movie and videogame.

I really hope they don't ruin the show with too many movie connections. [frick] the First Order.

I wonder if Rose will be shelved the way Jar Jar was in Episode II, with that famous "stay here" exchange with Padme? I'm not a Rose hater, but what do you think?
