The wait for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is almost over, and while we all know the final outcome of Jyn Erso's mission, it's yet to be seen just how much the team - and the Rebellion as a whole - suffers to accomplish their crusade against the Empire and their super-powered Death Star.
The official Star Wars YouTube has released a brand new TV Spot for the film, including snippets of new footage from the highly anticipated prequel. Check it out below!
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers.
The movie opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.

Yet another filmmaker has parted ways with Lucasfilm, and while we don't know whether creative differences were involved, Damon Lindelof is no longer developing a Star Wars movie for the troubled studio.
