Still skeptical about EA handling Battlefront and I'm afraid that it'll be a Battlefield game with a Star Wars skin placed over it. Hopefully DICE and EA will prove me wrong at E3.

Online games happen a LOT nowadays. The entire MMO genre is based around it, not including games like Destiny, Titanfall, and games that put little-to-no effort into single player like Call of Duty.
But I heard Battlefront has "missions" as opposed to a full-fledged campaign. So single player is present, just not in a form that has a story. I don't remember the other games having much of a story so it's not a total loss
