Abrams directing is huge, but the script is more important for the new Star Wars.

I love Toy Story three, which emphasized characters. Which also seem to be the same thing the original Star Wars movies did as well. I have hope for this movie.

Its gonna be geared toward a younger female audience

Little miss sunshine...

And how gay was toy story 3?

They think they can get the harry potter height fanaticism

I'd have preferred orci lindeloff or the other guy who wrote star trek

It's all in the Disney family, but I bet Marvel Studios is glad EPISODE 7 comes out *after* GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY. I wonder if/how the productions are comparing notes to make sure both movies blow people's socks off.

Remember how Disney pretty much treated JOHN CARTER as the red-headed stepchild once they realized how huge AVENGERS (which opened 2 mos. later) was going to be?

Funny stuff. Here's a guy who recognizes the fan hopes for this movie and knows that he can't F- this up.

It must be liberating to not be written into a corner, the way George was when he did the prequels. I'm wondering whether any canonicity will be applied to the novels at all (similar to how SUPERMAN RETURNS was mostly a sequel to SUPERMAN II), or if they'll disregard everything after ROTJ wholesale.
