Despite there clearly being a lot of moments that ended up on the cutting room floor, the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Blu-ray won't include any deleted scenes.
Now, though, some images have found their way online (via Imgur) which show Kylo Ren once again paying his respects to his grandfather, Darth Vader. Early on in the movie, we learned that Emperor Palpatine had spent years imitating the Sith Lord to manipulate Ben Solo for his own nefarious means, so he never actually communicated with Vader.
This scene may well have dealt with that in some way, but it's hard to say for sure.
Either way, this new Star Wars trilogy never really addressed Vader's legacy, and the fact that Anakin Skywalker never returned as a Force Ghost (which was one of the plans for The Force Awakens) is a shocker. The prevailing theory is that The Rise of Skywalker's deleted scenes will be included on Disney+, but it's hard to say for sure (that would certainly explain why there's none on the Blu-ray).
Vader's helmet did factor into the Skywalker Saga finale, but only very briefly. On the plus side, Anakin Skywalker's voice could be heard when Rey rose up to defeat The Emperor.
