Steven Spielberg Putting The Production Of ROBOPOCALYPSE On Hold

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Steve Spielberg has pushed back production on Robopocalypse. While some are speculating that this is a result of him being "wiped out" after filming and promoting the critically acclaimed Lincoln, his spokesman Marvin Levy told the site that the film is simply "too important and the script is not ready, and it's too expensive to produce. It's back to the drawing board to see what is possible." That's definitely not a good sign when the film was supposed to begin production in just a few months time. While there is currently no word on when it now WILL begin shooting, Spielberg has NOT left the project. He may however move on to Gods & Kings in the meantime. Be sure to stay tuned to CBM for future updates!
