I thought he was okay. But yeah, like TheSoulEater said, that actress and those thugs didn't do any good. Josh was actually the only one trying. But at the end, I'm still glad we got Andrew.
@Promorus
I think the scene was just created as a fictional scenario, but your right about that feeling around the end. Felt more like he changed from Peter to Spidey, "Late for class." I think they could've done a different scenario.

It was good choreography, but why would peter do that in school? haha. He look's like a teenager unlike Garfield. I love Toby's spidey that nerdy heartbroken kid whos always looking out for everyone before himself. I'm kind of disappointed in the reboot, They could of turned spider-man 3 into a way better movie we'll atleast i would think i could. Back to josh, Hes not nerdy enough, to lame. he would of looked cool doing those moves in the costume but nahh!

I'm sorry but if the new Spidey film uses a scene like that the movie will be terrible. They did a similar scene in Tobey's first movie when he fought Flash in hall at school. The thing is if you saw a guy doing crazy inhuman flips and destroying guys twice his size...and then a month later some dude in a superhero suit, the same size and build as the kid at school, is doing similar feats don't you think a logical person could put two and two together and figure it out?
Why does Sony feel the need to showcase Peter's skills at school? I think he should be considered a nerd and maintain that appearance in order to better cover his identity. Just my opinion but this type of over exhibition of his skills is not necessary.

I simply didn't like it at all from other movies he's been in I just cant see him as spider man nor peter parker I think Garfield was the perfect choice.
