Dean Cain has potentially hinted at a Lois & Clark reunion/reboot, in a new interview with Slice of Sci-fi. He implied that there is possibly something ‘Superman’ related coming in the near future.

Cain is currently making the rounds promoting his brand new movie 2050, a tale he sees as “Superman in the future”. Here is what he had to say:

“I’d love to catch up with Lois & Clark twenty-five years later. I’d like to see what’s going on with them. I mean, we’ve never seen that. I’m going to see Teri [Hatcher], in Liverpool, UK, next weekend so we’ll chat about it and see what we can get going.”

What do you think? Is this show a thing of the past, or would it be a refreshing reminder of the red-caped icon in today’s comic book world at large? Sound off in the comments below.

Lois & Clark aired from September 12, 1993, to June 14, 1997, exclusively on ABC.

"Teases A Potential Reboot"
No, he made polite conversation and basically insinuated that he'd like more work.

I got a little clickbait on this, my bad, guys; wrote this super late at night. I’ll exercise better judgement in the future.

Crisis on Infinite Earths is their chance. Also bring back the Smallville cast and give John Wesley Shipp some more damn screen time as Barry/Flash. This event should be everything Elseworlds failed to do.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - Both Dean Cain & Tom Welling will need to hit the gym again.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - yes! I really wish Season 6 of Flash, is Barry and the team travelling around the multiverse, preparing for Crisis on Infinite Earths, they end up on Smallville Earth (they could even tie in the Season 11 comic where multiple Monitors turned up, and show it was all part of Crisis On Infinite Earths), they end up on Lois and Clark Earth, they meet the plenty of versions of the Flash

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - the one person who will NEVER play Superman is Tom Welling.

@UltimaRex - I think he'd come back if he doesn't have to wear the suit. The red jacket would do just fine.

@blitzburgh - That'd be great. I liked his take Jonathan. He was stern like the MoS Pa, but not "Maybe you should have let those kids die" stern.

Badass profile pic btw.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - no...Smallville left off with him as superman. Fans of the show would be highly disappointedif he came back with the leather jacket or trench coat.
