Charlie’s Angels director McG may be off the Superman movie project again if Internet talk proves true.

Reportedly, Michael Bay (Bad Boys) is waiting in the wings. McG had been rumored for the project after it was revived by Warner Bros. a couple of years ago.

With the predicted success of Spider-Man 2 and Batman Begins, WB must be itching to do something with its lead comic book property. However, the revolving door for directors, multiple revisions of scripts, actors signing on and then off again, and more has driven development costs on the project way over the top, according to news reports.
