Very much in the same style as my previous editorial Gotham Central, The Daily Planet explores Metropolis following the death of Superman through the eyes of its reporters and journalists.

Following the death of Superman, Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Lois Lane finds herself in the middle of a conspiracy involving The Daily Planet’s parent company Galaxy Communications and it’s ties to a notorious criminal organisation.

Lois Lane - a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist for the Daily Planet of Metropolis.
Jimmy Olsen - an investigative reporter and photo-journalist, formerly a copy-boy, working at the Daily Planet.
Perry White - the editor-in-chief at the Daily Planet. He works alongside Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen.
Lana Langthe editor of the business section at the Daily Planet and lives in the penthouse of Hammersmith Tower in Metropolis with her niece.
Ron Troupe - a politics reporter working at the Daily Planet in Metropolis.
Steve Lombard - a sports columnist working at the Daily Planet.
Cat Grant - a well-known gossip columnist for the Daily Planet.
Morgan Edge - a media mogul and personality who owns Galaxy Communications.
Lucy Lane - the younger sister of Lois Lane, the daughter of Ella Lane and General Sam Lane. Formerly an airline stewardess and later joined the military
John Corben - a Sergeant working under General Sam Lane, he harbours a crush on his daughter Lois Lane.
Dan Turpin - also known as Brooklyn, Turpin is the toughest police officer in Metropolis.
General Sam Lane - the father of famed Daily Planet reporter, Lois Lane, and Lucy Lane. He is a General in the United States Army.
Vincent Edge - Vincent Edge was the leader of the criminal organization called Intergang until he suffered a heart attack due to stress.

Again very solid picks and well cast, where it makes sense, none of them seem outlandish. Well done.
I know it follows the death of Superman, but who would you have picked for Superman? Always one of the harder ones to fancast for me

@SimplyAz - James Marsden was my choice when I had him included, but after a little more thought I decided it would be more interesting if the story took place following his death.

There’s a decent chance he’ll make an appearance in future articles.

@AzorAhai - yeah you make a valid point. I originally had Michiel Huisman in the role before changing my mind at the last minute.

Has Rupert Grint done much since Harry Potter though?
