ELSEWORLDS BTS Photos Give Us Another Look At Tyler Hoechlin's Superman In His Black Costume

Stephen Amell shared an official set snap of Superman actor Tyler Hoechlin sporting that fan-favorite black suit, but these latest behind-the-scenes Elseworlds photos give us a clearer look. Check 'em out.

Arrow star Stephen Amell recently revealed that Tyler Hoechlin would be sporting a black costume when he returns as Superman/Clark Kent for the Elseworlds event, and now we have another look at the actor shooting a scene for the upcoming Arrowverse crossover.

As you can see, Supes is once again decked out in that all-black outfit as he reads from what appears to be some sort of ancient tome. A book of spells, perhaps?

Why The Man of Steel would be reading from a spellbook is anyone's guess, but there is a lot we still don't know about this year's DCTV crossover event and to be honest, this is probably the least strangest development yet!


The Elseworlds Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes with Supergirl on Tuesday the 11th at 8 p.m.

@Nightwing1015 - could be an alternate evil superman. Superboy prime wore a suit like that for a while. Maybe theyre taking the idea of an evil superman and the black suit and tweaking it for this story to give us one of the villains.
