The first full trailer for Superman has finally been released, and it's guaranteed to give you chills (and you will believe a man can fly).
In the sneak peek, things get heated between Clark Kent and Lois Lane when she questions his actions as the Man of Steel; it turns out that his decision to intervene and stop a war didn't have the intended consequences.
Beyond that, this latest preview doesn't reveal too much about what's to come in the movie. There are plenty of intriguing hints, though, and some phenomenal visuals, including a new look at Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Mr. Terrific in action.
We also get to see what The Engineer is capable of as she lets loose in the Fortress of Solitude. Ultraman, meanwhile, is shown sparingly and seemingly being kept largely under wraps by James Gunn for now. Lex Luthor looks positively unhinged, though, and is clearly out to destroy the Kryptonian.
The visual effects are first-rate (which hasn't always been the case for Warner Bros.' DC Comics adaptations), and there are some intriguing shots of both Metamorpho and that mysterious orb in the sky.
While this Superman trailer gives the supporting cast a chance to shine, it also highlights what David Corenswet is bringing to the table as Clark Kent and Kal-El. So far, it seems the Twisters star was perfectly cast in the role by Gunn.
