The animal powers bestowed upon Mari McCabe by the Tantu Totem are on full display in the first poster for season 2 of The CW Seed's Vixen starring Megalyn Echikunwoke. What are you looking forward to seeing in the character's live-action debut on Arrow?
Vixen is executive produced by Arrow's Marc Guggenheim. The animated web series consisted of six, short episodes on The CW Seed. CSI and The 4000 actress Megalyn Echikunwoke plays the titular hero. Stephen Amell, Grant Gustin, Emily Bett Rickards and Carlos Valdes all voiced animated versions of their respective CW characters. The series followed McCabe after her parents were killed and she inherited the Tantu Totem - a magical item which bestows its wielder with the power of various animals.
Vixen was created by Gerry Conway and Bob Oksner in Action Comics #521 (1981). The animated web series occurs during season 3 of Arrow, between episodes 15 and 16.
