Lanterns has received positive reviews from fans and critics, but the show's grounded nature is still dividing opinions. In episode three, Hal Jordan finally suited up in a costume that's a far cry from both the comics and 2011's Green Lantern movie.
Avoiding comparisons to the latter might have been the point, and we now have a closer look at the suit's final design thanks to concept artist Imario Susilo.
Given that there's still no sign of the hero's domino mask—which it appears Hal ditched in 1996 after revealing his identity to the world—it's looking increasingly likely that we won't see it in the HBO series. It has been glimpsed in a photo used in a new report, but that could be it.
"Sharing the final concept art I did for Hal Jordan," Susilo, who also worked on Spider-Noir, wrote on Instagram. "It was such a humbling experience to work with brilliant Costume Designer [Cynthia Summers]. I’ve been a fan of her work for a long time, and I loved her vision from the very beginning—especially how she wanted to establish the tone of the show and bring a grounded, lived-in quality to Hal Jordan."
The artist added, "I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to bringing her vision for this character to life."

In other DCU news, scooper Daniel Richtman is reporting that tickets for Clayface go on sale this coming week. That means we can expect new posters and a final trailer for the R-rated horror movie DC Studios surely hopes will find the same box office momentum as hits like Obsession and Backrooms.
