RUMOR: Jaden Smith To Star In 'Static Shock'
A new report claims that Jaden Smith is locked for the role of 'Static Shock' in the WB live action adaptation. Hit the jump!
This may come as a shock to all! While it was announced last year that a Static Shock TV series was in development at Warner Bros, there may be more traction on the series as actor Tyler Williams (of The Walking Dead fame) spoke with Flicks and the City about Jaden Smith's involvement in the series as Virgil Ovid Hawkins aka 'Static'. It was reported last October that Smith was being looked at for the role of Static. Williams could've just let it slip.
Static Shock is set to be written, produced and directed by Reginald Hudlin
