@HulkleBerry The first 15 episodes of the first season are sorta lame. After that it begins to build into a better show. I've much preferred this season over the last. It's not a necessary addition to the MCU, but it is a decent show.

This show has be good from the start but has truly gotten better and better. I am so looking forward to these final few episodes. It's all going down. I hope we get to find out what is in the hold of the ship that Gonzales. It was something so terrible that Fury wanted the ship scuttled, something that he definitely didn't want Hydra to get their hands on.

@HulkleBerry,
If you haven't been interested so far then you still won't be. It was a good show from the beginning, it just took some time to set up the world. If those of you who think that the first 10 episodes were so bad, were to go back and look at all of the world building that they were doing, you would see all of the seeds that were planted and you would realize that they weren't just throw away episodes.

@HulkleBerry: If you can watch the entire series from the start, you are gonna see something INCREDIBE:.

And, yes, buddy of mine from high school, a dude I played Dungeons and Dragons with, is on the production team.

And if he were not involved, I would STILL SAY this is one HELL of a show!

If you can watch every episode, from the beginning, you are in for one HELLA ride!

@HulkleBerry - The first two thirds of season one is disappointing to say the least. The show from there on out is great and definitely on par with Arrow.
If you do chose to watch it from the start, the pay off will be so good that you'll probably agree that it's even as good as the Flash.

I hate to do this but don't listen to MarvelousAgentX... Agents of SHIELD will surprise you if you stick it out. You seriously cannot judge it based on it's marketing or how bad it's start is.

@GliderMAN: Theta Protocol?

"Resurrecting" the Helicarrier (64), man, and calling in The Avengers to take out a major Hydra base.

And Agents of SHIELD has been excellent from DAY ONE.

Do some of you forget Mike Peterson was in Episode One?

It's all about building a story.

And Agents of SHIELD is all about Building The Story.

I don't think it started really bad. I think people had specific expectations for it coming off of Avengers and got disappointed when they realized that the show had other ideas.

I'm certainly not saying it didn't have some bumps along the first half of season 1 as the show tried to establish itself, it's characters, the state of the world and all that setup.

lmao these marvel studios fanboy do get mad when you criticize their movies and shows... The first season of this show sucked, anyone who says other wise is just a blind fanboy. Then the show got good because it stuck to its own main plot. The question is: Did AoS caused the events of AoU ??? Remember last week when Coulson said is time to bring the Avengers to destroy Hydra's base. If they would had not attacked the base, Tony wouldn't had his mind [frick]ed up by Scarlet Witch, and he would had never took Loki's staff and worked on it for the Ultron program.

This season rocks.

I'm actually wondering if Coulson will die in the last episodes

At this point, I think he has to die eventually, I doubt he'll show up in the movies and if he does it will make Shield look shady again, keeping more secrets
ScionStorm
ScionStorm - 5/3/2015, 4:39 PM
@DrKinsolving He won't die until Daisy Johnson is ready to be the next Director of SHIELD.
Pathogen
Pathogen - 5/3/2015, 5:26 PM
@HulkleBerry No, its not worth watching. You may get sucked in by the marvel mentions, etc, but the acting, writing, and stories are garbage. Its basically kddie fluff, made for the Twilight generation.

Go watch Daredevil, so far the best comic book property on TV, if you want a real TV show to get behind

Love this show. I look forward to it every week as well.

As disappointing as the show was for the first part of season one, I still feel like anyone wanting to start watching should persevere through it because the payoff later on shows how much better it gets, and it also is essential for the character dynamics later. Ward would not be nearly as cool a character once Winter Soldier hits without it.
MarvelousAgentX
MarvelousAgentX - 5/4/2015, 5:04 AM
Agents of SHIELD is worth watching from the beginning. No it is not a show about supers nor was it intended to be. The first part of season 1 was all about setting up this world.
If you miss the first part of season 1,
You will not know who Mike Peterson is.
You will not know who Rainna is.
You will not know anything about the Clairvoyant.
You will have no idea who Ian Quinn is
You will not know what an 0.8.4 is.
You will have no idea why Ward is so hated.
You will have no idea about the Cavalry.
You will have no idea about Coulson and May's relationship.

There are many other little pieces that make up the whole picture.
I have said before that this series has been good from the start and has only gotten better and better.

They went to great lengths to develop these characters. It's not Flash were BOOM 20 minutes into the 1st episode you have a powered group of people and a main plot for the hero to follow (people complain about AoS case of the week format for the 1st few episodes is funny because that only lasts till mid season and Flash is literally a villain of the week every week.)it is easily set up. AoS doesn't go that route at all. The go to great lengths to set up their characters and define their development. Also don't buy into the "kiddie" aspect of this show that people harp on. There is nothing kiddie about it, especially in regards to Hydra. I mean The whole Skye's mom being dissected by Whitehall (he puts HER organs inside of his body so that he could live longer) and then put back together again by her father is far from children's fair. There are many plots, sub plots, character development points (May killing a child, Ward killing his parents and brother and setting them on fire) and so on and so on. There is no "kiddie" show validity at all. Is it as brutal as Dare Devil? Absolutely not but even the Dark Knight wasn't DD brutal. The show is good, really good. Not every episode is great (even Game of Thrones has a weak episode here and there) but most of them are and more importantly there is a point to everything, nothing is there just to be there.

Did anyone else think that Chloe Bennet's action scene at the end of last week episode was awesome and scar-jo a-la Iron Man 2 hot?
