Marvel has just announced that its flagship TV series, Agents of SHIELD, will return for Season 3 on September 29th. We've known a third season was in the works ever since the Season 2 finale, but now we know when we'll get to see the gang return to the small screen. Marvel have also released an updated synopsis:
'Following the game-changing events of the Season 2 finale, Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg), Agent May (Ming-Na Wen), Skye (Chloe Bennet), Lincoln (Luke Mitchell), Mack (Henry Simmons) and the rest of your favorite Agents return with their biggest challenges yet.'
Marvel's Agents Of SHIELD stars Clark Gregg as Director Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Agent Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons, Nick Blood as Agent Lance Hunter and Adrianne Palicki as Agent Bobbi Morse.
