In an interview with IGN TV, Nashville actress Chloe Bennet has talked more about her role in Joss Whedon's highly anticipated return to the small screen with Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.. While she's careful not to divulge anything too revealing, there are a few interesting tidbits of information here, and you can read the interview in full by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
On Skye's Reaction When She Is Captured By S.H.I.E.L.D.:
I can’t say much about it. But I can say that she is this superhero-obsessed girl, in a way where she’s just in awe of it, but she’s also skilled in the sense that she can kind of get herself into these situations. You know, I think she’s going to enjoy the ride, just like myself. I think she’ll have fun.
On How Skye And Her Superhero Obsession:
I think she would be more one to play it a little bit cool, but then have those geek-out moments. She’s not quite a cosplay girl, she’s not exactly a fangirl, but she gets really excited -- but it’s in here [tapping chest], just like all of us about the show, I think.
On What Her Character Makes Of Agent Coulson:
I think her and Coulson could get along. You will have to watch and see how they got on, but yeah... [Laughs]
On How She Feels To Now Be A Part Of The Marvel Universe:
I walk past comic book stores, and I see kids… especially now that Iron Man 3’s out. We went to go see the midnight showing, and just sitting there in the theater before it started, I was like, “Gaaaahhh!” Like, freaking out because it’s incredible. It feels so bizarre. Hopefully sometime I get a superpower. I would like to be able to transport myself wherever I wanted.
