A new study by NewMediaMetrics shows that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is sure to be a success. The brand-strategy and content-alignment company has released its annual Fall TV predictions via its 2013 LEAP TV Study, which includes its performance predictions for the 2013 fall TV season. For the past seven years, NMM has made these predictions with more than 80 percent accuracy by measuring consumers’ Emotional Attachment (EA) to show concepts – a nod to how the media industry should assess content with an evaluation at the front end of the production process.

The Crazy Ones (CBS), The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC), Sleepy Hollow (Fox), Ironside (NBC), Hostages (CBS), Almost Human (Fox), The Blacklist (NBC), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC), and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland (ABC), and Reign (CW) make up the list of The top 10 new shows that have the highest probability for success.

Related to Marvel's new live-action TV show, NMM provided Comicbook.com with a little more detail on the consumers with an emotional attachment to the show. The top 5 demos attached to Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D include: 1. Hispanic/Latino/Latina who predominantly speaks Spanish (sample size is less than 30), 2. Males 25-34, 3. Hispanic/Latino/Latina who predominantly speaks English, 4. Males 18-34, and 5. Males 25-49.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet). From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.

And as promised......

Stan Lee won the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Geekie Award, which was presented to him by Seth Green. In accepting the award, Stan Lee said, I’m very thrilled to get this, whatever the hell it is. After explaining how no one gave him the same answer as to what a geek was, Stan Lee added, The next time I get my next award I would like to know what it’s for and what the hell a geek is.

Honestly this looks like another x-files/fringe clone.

My biggest beef with AoS is they created like 5 boring archetypal characters instead of using unique character from the comics

Latinos are the highest going movie demographic also, we're the ones that put Avengers over the top...that audience is going to flock to the tv show.

I'm shocked that its the latinos that predominantly speak spanish thats at the top of the list tho.
