It seems HYDRA isn't a big fan of secret daughters! At least, that's what the synopsis for season 3, episode 16 of Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. suggests.

The lovely lady beside ol' Gideon in the images below is One Tree Hill actress Bethany Joy Lenz, who guest stars in the ep as Stephanie Malick. As you'll also see from the description, Reed Diamond is set to return as Daniel Whitehall.

Neo Ward seems to be one of the cool villains we may see. If this character is actually strong, abd badass, then I expect and hope he's a recurring villain in next season

I would assume Whitehall is going to be part of a flashback, rather than coming back to life, but who knows with Marvel.

As for the direction of the show, I would have preferred a spin off of the Secret Warriors, rather than Most Wanted. I'm sure I'll like Most Wanted, but Shield is basically run by super powered beings now, and it has affected the group a lot. Not much emphasis on May, Jemma and Fitz. Instead most of the time is spent with Daisy and Luke.

Every show needs to evolve, but it seems silly to continuously chase after super powered beings that have been transformed by fish pills. I wonder how this will impact or be incorporated into the Inhumans movie....any thoughts on that?

@AvengersRock - My opinion has been exactly the opposite. Most of the times has been rather spent with Mack, Fitz. Simmons has been the focus of this season. May always has never been the literal focus. It's from the next week episode that the focus actually shifts from them to the superpowers. In my opinion Secret Warriors wouldn't be any different than what we qre getting in AoS now. Replace normal guys with full superpowers, you would get the same show.

And also Most doesn't seem like a Spy Show in my opinion and their last episode seems to have comfirmed that they aren't spies.

@dragonator29 - Interesting that you are reading it the opposite of my read. Mack has definitely been more center stage, and I agree that Fitz is still a main character. Jemma and May have been mostly sidelined in favor of Daisy and Luke, IMO.

I think Secret Warriors should be the super hero show - superheros against supervillians. SHIELD should go back to being a spy show chasing down Hydra or other secret orgs - i.e. AIM or other spy agencies. I like SHIELD most when its more like Mission: Impossible, with FitzSimmons coming up with gadgets to save the day and May powers her way through with help from Daisy, Mack, etc.

As for Most Wanted, I think that may be a cover for them to infiltrate an organization that they take down. We don't know the whole story yet, but I bet Colson and Morse/Hunter have a grand plan for their escapades next year. Looking forward to seeing how it unfolds, but I still think Secret Warriors would have been a better spin off.

Kinda random, kinda on topic: I was rewatching TWS and when Alexander Pierce talks about Nick Fury and Bogata he mentions that one of the people saved in the event is Pierce's daughter. I wonder if that'll come full circle in the future.
